I’m a 5th grade teacher at a school in Kansas. The building is 1st grade through 5th grade. I’m a male teacher. I am in the minority. I like to use computers, games, and other tools to teach. Don’t expect me to brag about my students blogging or wiki-ing. Students that struggle to subtract and read probably should not worry about getting an entry posted.
Don’t give up on the blogging! Fifth graders love it . . . with a little assistance from the teacher/editor : ) even the most unmotivated students get excited about posting (or commenting). Start slow . . .
